This week, we are introducing Farmers Insurance Agent Travis Williams. Travis has been in the insurance and finance planning industry for seven years and has been serving the Southern California area since 1998. After using TenantBase to find an Orange County office space (where he could meet and assist his clients), we sat down with Travis to get his perspective on being a small business in the area.
Travis Williams is a California native who prides himself on building strong client relationships. Although his area of specialty is retirement planning, Travis is certified in five areas of insurance and is able to help clients across a variety of insurance and financial planning needs. His certifications through Farmers insurance makes him a one-stop-shop for families and businesses.
Travis conducts many of his consultations in person and says, “educating his clients is the most rewarding aspect of my job.” In addition to the problems many small companies face such as finding good employees, managing daily tasks, and handling small expenses; Travis also has other specific regulations he needed to uphold as a certified Farmers agent. At first, Travis had a difficulty in finding an office that met all his needs. “This was my first time leasing an office space and there were definitely a lot of challenges when looking for a space.” As someone who prides himself in client relationships by conducting confidential, face to face meetings, finding the perfect office space was important for his business.
Luckily, TenantBase was able to help Travis find a space. Travis explains that “having TenantBase represent me and walk me through the process was a big help and I feel confident about the outcome.” In addition to his new space, Travis uses a variety of other tools to manage his clients. By using applications such as Cubby’s, To-do It, Microsoft Cloud, and Outlook calendar, Travis can efficiently communicate with his clients. With his new office space to meet clients and his time management skills, Travis is excited for what the future holds.
